Having jumped out of a plane for charity last year to celebrate my 40th birthday and to raise some much needed funds for St Gemma’s Hospice in Leeds (that’s me in the picture above), I began the year knowing that my main challenges for 2017 would be the development and growth of One Global and the perennial problem of juggling a career with a family of 5.

With March just around the corner things have changed a little. It doesn’t seem right to just leave it at falling out of a plane, anyone can fall after all. So here I am again, trying to raise more money for St Gemma’s and asking my friends, family and contacts to dig deep, hopefully without annoying anyone too much. This time I’m not falling, I’m running, a much harder proposition for me given that running has never really been my thing. I’m expecting The Great North Run to be a lot more painful but hopefully just as rewarding as the skydive.
